Dig out the tinsel, find that Santa hat, don your best festive jumper and enter the Christmas Driving tests. 
 
It's your last chance to give that car a competitive run out in 2022. Is there a better sort of run out than a selection of festive tests? 
 
Once again the test will be held at

Stoneleigh on December the 10th,

just before the AGM and Christmas party.

Introduction

Welcome to the 2022 Christmas Driving tests. The much-awaited tests once again take place at Stoneleigh Park, Kenilworth, CV8 2LG on Saturday 10th Dec 2022

How to Enter and pay

The entry fee will be £47.

The entry fee for those lucky enough to Under 30 will be £23.50.

Venue

on entering Stoneleigh Park (Kenilworth, CV8 2LG) go through the main entrance, the test site can be found by turning directly left after the café. The café serves Breakfast, lunch and a good coffee.

Regulations

The meeting will be held under the general Regulations of Motorsport UK (incorporating the provision of the international sporting code of the FIA), these supplementary regulations and any written instructions the club may issue for any event.ka

Motorsport general regulations apply as written.

Motorsport UK permit

This event will be held under Permit Number: 120646

Eligible cars and drivers

The event is open to members and friends of the Frazer Nash Car club who hold at least a Motorsport UK Clubmans licence.

Classes

There will be 2 classes:

  1. Nash's
  2. Non-Nash's

Awards

There will be awards.

Documentation

Scrutineering will take place on the day, please ensure you have a copy of your race (or clubmans) licence with you.

General

Timing will be using TimingAppLive.

The test layout will be provided at signing on.

Each driver will complete 3 tests twice. The total time and any additional penalties will be used to calculate the winner.

Competitors will start in their own time, timing will commence as the front wheel passes over the start line. Timing will stop when the front wheel crosses the finish line. Cars must stop before the Stop line or a 10 second penalty will be incurred.

In the event of a tie the fastest run of the first course will determine the tie, then the fastest of the second run, etc, until the tie is resolved.

Competitors will be given a number by the organisers, this should be displayed in the car so that the time keepers can see it at the start of a test.

Passengers are NOT allowed.

Competing Vehicles must comply with the following:

(a) Body shape must conform to the original silhouette of the production vehicle and retain the original layout of engine and transmission;

(b) An effective windscreen or Aero-type screen must be fitted;

(c) Any areas of window, opening or transparent material originally specified as part of the vehicle to provide Driver visibility must remain consistent with the original specified dimensions and position. No additional areas may be added. If a vehicle is equipped with any such additional areas they must be rendered opaque before the vehicle is allowed to compete;

Spill kits will be available at the site

Penalties will be awarded as follows

Striking a cone, barrier or any other structure

10 seconds

Wrong course

Slowest time of the day +10 seconds

Failing to stop before the stop line or leaving the test area during a test

10 seconds
