Frazer Nash Vintage Radiator
Sold May 9th

Single seat body
Built originally to fit our TT Rep. Rather handsome as far as single seat bodies go with a sort of Fiat Ballila-ish type tail finishing over the tank. It is very well professionally made, and is complete with a proper louvred bonnet, bulkhead firewall, engine-turned dash, floor panels and tonneau cover. Painted black it is ready to fit. No idea of value but must have cost a bomb to make, the bonnet alone would cost a lump of dosh too. So, £1800? But do talk to me as it has to go, no space and no need for it. Delivery possible at cost - (not much) - Pics available.
Note: this isn't the body our car once wore in the 30's, this one was made in the 1990's

Mark II LeMans Rep Frazer Nash
REG. NO. BYL3 - CHASSIS NO. 421/200/210 - With regret, Bill Roberts is parting with BYL3, his Le Mans Rep. Mark II. This is a well campaigned car, superb for road and competition. Originally sold as a rolling chassis and bodied by Dr. Stungo as a saloon, it was rebodied by Bill Roberts, the 2nd owner, as a Mk11 Le Mans Rep 30 years ago.
The car is on 16"Borrani wheels with a spare set of 15" wires in steel. It is fitted with overdrive and remote gear selector, LSD and selection of diff ratios., adjustable ride height torsion bars, adjustable Spax shock absorbers all round. Elect reserve petrol system.
Ready for the POM with hood, split tonneau and quarter tonneau, boot rack and straps, one years MOT. A new radiator grille with more shape comes with the car.
The car has had a good racing history during the last 20 years and has a nice patina from many years of competition and fun use but needs a little TLC. Can be seen in the Reading area.

Exchange
Batten V8 sports car. Built in 1937 by The Beckenham Motor Company, Kent and one of a small production run, offered to the general public, built essentially for competition work. Based on a Ford V8 and shortened to 8 foot wheel base with a narrowed track, front and rear of 4 foot 2 inches. It sports a 2 seater coachbuilt body, with a door to make it easy to get in it, made in aluminum to customers specification and powered by the famous flathead Ford V8. This example is the only trialling version left in existence! Only one other car of this marque is known to have survived. This car is a very successful car and won many awards and medals in pre-war competitions, as it did in post-war years and it also has a Brooklands history and won a race there in 1937. It is a genuine 100 MPH+ car that is so versatile it is used in sprints, hill climbs, trials and could be used for racing. Used extensively for VSCC with a current buff form (Standard) and retains her original registration number. She is a fantastic car to drive on the road with brisk acceleration, good handling and powerful brakes. Complete with V5c, current road tax and MOT. The car comes with original hood frame, proper windscreen and pillars. Qualifies for international FIVA paperwork. Comprehensive history file which includes many pre-war action shots. A rare opportunity to own a unique piece of motoring history that is still very usable being so versatile! Would like to part exchange for a Frazer Nash. Anything considered, cash either way.
