Lands End Classic Road Trial 19th/20th April 2019

In addition to the original Lands End trial the same weekend, the MCC are now running the Lands End Classic Road Trial.  It will take place as usual on Good Friday/Easter Saturday 19th/20th April 2019 running over much the same route as the normal Land's End. All 7 observed sections are on tarmac using mostly old Land's End sections since surfaced. There will be 2 observed tests on good quality Forestry Commission tracks and multiple time controls. The route is about 370 miles, and could provide a good shake down prior to Bolzano.   It's planned to start from the 3 main trial starts at Plusha, Cornwall; Cirencester, Gloucestershire; or Popham, Hampshire, all converging on Bridgwater, Somerset where there is an hour's halt. They will then follow a route to the far south west via various observed sections, timed tests, time controls and route boards that take in many old Land's End sections, finishing at Hayle, Cornwall. As members of the VSCC, FNCC members can enter any class in any trial without joining the MCC.  Entries and SSRs will be available on the MCC website   www.themotorcyclingclub.org.uk    shortly after 6th January 2019.  For Frazer Nashes or GNs that would like to make up a team, a team prize will be awarded to the best team judged by individual performances (subject to 3 team entries).  For further information, please contact Bill Rosten at rostendental@gmail.com
