Stanley cup update

We have a full entry ,which is excellent  , and ranges from GNs to a couple of post war cars.

The Thursday tests will be at Stone Hurst Farm which is the HQ for the event plus where Saturday’s Nash Bash will be held. 

Friday is the big day out -  Last week we engaged in a road run of approx. 90 miles with some  testing of the longer tests.  The route we used is not compulsory . This is not a tricky navigation rally – there will be some waypoints where a photograph of all 3 team cars will need to be taken but how you get there is up to you. All three team cars will start at the same special test and then follow the tests in order from there. Timing will be a mixture of average speeds [ as on a rally section]  and times taken to complete each test

[ like a driving test ]. Some of the tests are unsurfaced ,but well graded , parkland estate roads , over a mile long and in lovely surroundings . Others are on asphalt and grass.

Saturday is a shorter road run and some more tests before an early afternoon finish to allow everyone time to get their party frocks on.
