Targa Florio Sicily Raid June 2021.

27th Jun 2020

There are still spaces available on this Raid, which will be our third visit to this wonderful island, in order to commemorate Franco Cortese’s win, driving a Frazer Nash, seventy years previously.

To some extent it is hoped that the Raid will follow the theme of our previous visits with one exception – FNCC members will also be able to participate in the three day Giro di Sicilia.   Initially we thought that numbers might be restricted for this event but we now know this is not the case.   Of the 28 cars currently going to Sicily 19 have chosen to enter the Giro.

As mentioned previously there is an opportunity for a FNCC member to join this Raid with a ‘modern’ and trailer, to accompany us, possibly carrying Club spares etc.

We think this might appeal to a member (plus wife or partner) who would like to come on the Raid but is unable to use their Nash or, indeed, has not yet acquired a Nash.

Briefly the Raid will start and finish in Genoa where we shall take the ferry to Palermo, a 24 hour cruise in the Med!   The drive to and from Genoa will be for you to organise.

If this Raid appeals please contact John Sheard (johnrsheard@hotmail.com) who will be happy to answer any questions.
