Curborough Charity Sprint Monday 31st August 2020

17th Jun 2020

Following the success of the Oakamoor Hill Climb Revival and ever hopeful that the current easing of the Covid-19 lockdown will continue, we are pressing on with preparations for a charity demonstration sprint at Curborough Sprint Course.

The event is scheduled to take place on Monday, 31st August 2020, for up to 100 cars and motorcycles (eligibility 1900 to 1980 inclusive). As a demonstration event, runs will not be timed, but will nonetheless provide a great opportunity to have some fun on the figure-of-eight course. The entry fee is £50 for cars, £25 for motorcycles and all proceeds will go to registered charity, Staffordshire Clubs for Young People.

Online entry is currently open for entrants only, so if you have an eligible vehicle and would like to attend, click here to access the online entry system. Sadly, due to COVID-19, it is highly probable that this year’s event will have to be closed to the public. That said, don’t forget to follow us on our Facebook page SCYP Curborough Charity Sprint to keep abreast of any updates; if we can allow access to period Static Display vehicles, we most certainly will! The Book Now button on Facebook will also take you through to the online registration system.

Jodie is planning to run the café and should be equipped with a contactless card reader by then. There will also be an ice cream van and there is plenty of room for socially distanced picnicking!

Hope to see many of you there.
