BF 6116 sitting in the same place that that PE 4734 sat over 25 years ago making the total number of seven chain driven cars in Scrooby.

I came to the thought that at 78 I only have a very small numbers of racing years left in me and even though my Anzani car is the Best Frazer Nash ever it is not a racing car and it has always been last, by a long way, in the Nash race.
Jonathon Mellor was hoping to buy another car and was selling both of his cars to fund the deal so I went up to buy Beetle! To cut a long story short I didn’t feel up to adding the 6 inches to the chassis that would enable me to drive it comfortably enough to compete in so I bought his other car. BF 6116 has got enough grunt to not be last in the Nash race so if I am it’s not down to the car!
I have sold my soul to the devil as the new car has a non Frazer Nash clutch and coil ignition and a Meadows engine however PE4734 being the good natured car that an Anzani car is will share the garage without complaining. Roll on the restart of COVID free motorsport.
