27th Feb 2021

After Beetle and the Supersports headed off to their new homes MV158 has been sitting, waiting, for the snow then the road  salt to disappear from the roads of the NE of England. This morning we had to make an essential trip to a localish farm shop with a little 'deviation ' on the way home. A couple of pics attached.
First time in a prewar car since September and hoping that we get further good weather as travelling restrictions ease so we can get some road miles in before the hillclimb season gets underway.
The high moorland roads of the Northern Pennines are tailor made for Nashing so some extended day trips are on the cards before ,hopefully, we all get back to some competitive driving. The main picture with Nimmy in the car is at the bottom of a  hill used as a hillclimb in 1911 and is on one of my road test circuits.
