A great day at Shelsley - after last year's deluge everyone was grateful to get two afternoon runs, and we had two record-breaking performances:  Tony Lees in Cognac, and Compsec Ian Bingham in the Geoghegan Special.  Other awards went to Jo Blakeney-Edwards, this time beating Simon into third place.  Matt Vincent secured second place in his class.  Dougal Cawley and Piglet won their class, with Chris Batty a creditable second.

Among the insects and other oddities of the racing car classes, Jade Dearling with GN Ariel KN IV (pictured) was attracting most attention in the paddock and finished below fifty seconds but outside the awards, leaving Martin Spencer with Spider II to take an impressive second place in class and overall, (beaten only by an ERA), with Tony Lees in Cognac in third (with the vintage record).

In the unlimited class Julian Grimwade secured second place in the Norris.  Full results here.
