Justin Maeers drove the Parker GN to victory in the vintage race at Oulton Park on Saturday, winning the Boulogne Trophy.  With 8 of the 18 cars on the grid consisting of GNs & FNs, it was a spectactular sight as they rounded the 1st corner en masse and roared past the crowds with barely inches between the front few cars.   Tony Lees finished 2nd in Cognac, a rogue Bentley prevented a FNCC podium lockout and took 3rd place, Eddie Williams & Tommy Waterfield both in Supersports were 4th & 5th respectively, with Eddie taking 1st handicap.  A truly exciting, closely fought race and without doubt the crowd pleaser of the day!  Later in the day Julian Grimwade took victory in a short scratch race from Tony Lees, who unfortunately lost 3rd gear drive, and Tommy Waterfield who started from the back of the grid missed 3rd place by 3 tenths of a second!  JBE, (also missing 3rd gear) was 3rd overall & 1st vintage in the ODM with David Johnson winning 2nd VSCC Standard Car.
